OK, the mini-deadlines aren't really working, I need a new strategy. The plan is done (no annotations or key yet) and the model is sort of finished (a bit rickety, I really hope it's not windy on Monday). But I've got about 12 hours left to do everything else. Better stop blogging and start working. Here are some pics of the model:

Sleep is for wimps

Well, I thought I'd better say something as I haven't blogged for ages, but progress is slow in some areas and backwards in others.

I decided that I need to set myself some mini-deadlines if I'm going to get anywhere so my week now looks like this:

today - Finish A1 Design development drawing, inc rendering, annotations and key.
Wednesday - Final rendered sections
Thursday - Sketch Model at 1:200
Friday - Planting Plan and Soft overlay
Saturday - Hardworks Plan, Lighting and Drainage overlays
Sunday - redo Mood Board (which I got completely wrong) and sketches.

This will be in between school runs, food shopping, laundry, housework, cooking and other essentials, like eating and showering (may have to skip the shower).

It doesn't look too bad if you say it fast enough. As you can see, blogging doesn't get a look in, but if I manage to stick to the schedule, I'll post stuff to prove it.

As Jamie said, the door is closing soon and I've got to get through it with all my bits of paper intact and not get caught on the door handle or leave anything behind.

Ah well, one door closes, another slams in your face.

See you next week - probably dirtier, thinner and more haggard than before.
